Saturday, March 15...

In the past week, crew #2 concentrated on cleaning.  With insulation hopefully starting Tuesday, they needed to get the church mucked out!  It looks awesome! And oh for tempting, to throw on a pair of rollerblades and zip around the sanctuary a few times. jk

They shuffled a lot of what was in the church into the house next door.

The whole thing was vacuumed.

The whole church is neat and tidy.

Koose wouldn't sit still. :-)

 View from the entry.
The sanctuary.  The ladder is a bit annoying, but it's the access to the attic and had to stay there.
Front entry.

View from the NW Corner.

Pulpit area.

I took wide angle shots of the property.   Mix things up a bit. :-)  Along with the cleaning inside, there was cleaning up outside as well.

This was taken from the SW corner of the property.

Directly south.

Taken from the SE corner.

Another one with the fence line in it.

The finished front.

Cleaning up, but mostly visiting.

There is a couple different wood piles on the property.  Which might get used, if we put a fire pit in as part of the landscaping.

With this task I was given as blog person, there is one thing I have loved about it!  Watching these guys come together as one to work on completing this project.  Also, the friendships and bonds that have started.  There is a closeness between the guys, that is really hard to describe.

The burn pile has shrunk to nothing!

Caulking nail holes and cracks, in preparation for painting the exterior.

Medium sized kids hauling garbage to the dumpster.

It's a job they don't mind doing, as you can clearly see.

The professional hard at work.

I guess this is as entertaining to watch as anything else.

Cutting the extra large chunks of wood.

The guys also cleaned up in the house.  I should have taken a picture of the shelves, they were so nice and organized!

Fire and sprinkler guys should finish up their stuff today.  With that, hopefully it passes inspection either today or tomorrow and the Insulators can start their stuff.  I think they are penciled in to start tomorrow!  There is a possibility of  exterior paint to start this week also.   That's if the design committee can figure out colors. :)  I don't envy them and their job.
That's about it for now.
