Tuesday, April 1...

My first chance of getting to the church after spring break.
The exterior paint is started, and sheet rock is going in at a fast pace!
A few pictures of the exterior with some of the painting done.

These weeds sure look pretty in the spring when everything else is brown!

I'm thinking they were trying to figure out colors, by this lovely palette on the front wall.

Many different colors!  This will all change here shortly!

This is what the whole church will look like when complete.  The fascia will be that darker color paint. The upper part, will be that lighter gray color you see. I like it!

I must like these weeds, another picture for you.

The ceilings and some of the walls have sheet rock.

Notice the floor!  Before the guys started sheet rocking, they sealed it. That's the shine you can see through all the dust.

Wow, it's starting to look awesome!

Those two skylights let in quite a bit of light.  The front looks so pretty with the light bouncing around.

The north end is waiting to be finished.  The electricians need to hook up power to the main transformer.

Professional sheet rock layer.

Getting some instructions.

Digging a trench for the electricians.  They need to string wires from the main transformer to the building.  Then the permanent power will be hooked up and they can take down the temporary stuff.

Wonder how the trench will turn out with this goofball in charge?! :-)

Cleaning up paint drippings.

Sun down on the Roan Plateau.

Another professional sheet rock layer!  All those screws are going in so nice and straight. :-)

So...sheet rock, exterior painting, trench digging and a little bit of electrical work is on the agenda for this week.
